It may be a little different but I've encountered people who just dont understand the policies and rules of the jw org. They are blown away when I tell them how strict things are and also about the dfing policy. Thats what Ive encountered at work to those few who I have told.

Kibi,
I so know what you mean...My wife and I have been inactive for about a month but still she is skeptical to what I show her. Keep on there, its very fulfilling to see the real truth about this org. I have hope that both our spouses will join us soon. Hang in there, and thanks for sharing your great story!

Thanks for sharing that wonderful stories. It really encourages us new ones that definitely the right decision is to seperate ourselves from this unkind and unloving org. Thanks again and good luck to ya!
P.S. Look forward to more posts from you.

Hi, I'm new here!
by SWALKER ini just thought i'd like to start posting as i've been visiting this site for some time.
it's hard to believe that i'm actually doing this seeing how i am a 4th generation jw.
my great grandfather was a contemporary of russell and my grandfather was on the board of directors of the society.

Ok, Question: Was there a comment made at a meeting that finally convinced.
by New Castles inwas there a comment made at a meeting that finally convinced you, this is not right?
for me a couple of weeks ago was in the service meeting, they stated that if the children didnt finish their homework because they were studying the bible or at a meeting that teachers should understand that their meetings and study are more important.
i looked at my wife and went "what"??
